| Description: | Job Summary
This is a critical position for our Service Center and Service Units. We look to the Operations Manager to supervise the daily operations in order to assure high safety standards, provide technical knowledge, and ensure dependable service. The Operations Manager provides outstanding service and assists the General Manager with the execution of the Customer sales/retention plan.
Responsibilities
? Maintain overall presence of the facility, yard, and fleet.
? Provide technical expertise on the safe storage and handling of propane and ensure all safety standards are met.
? Be aware of competitor actions, complete price surveys, and work with the Service Center team to maintain Customer growth and retention.
? Communicate Customer delivery/service issues to Delivery Manager and ensure all Drivers are in route within 15 minutes of specified start time.
? Support Customer growth and provide information to our Customers and prospects on available programs and program enhancements. |
| Requirement: | ? 2-5 years of related experience in an operations role
? Outstanding leadership abilities
? Superior communication skills
? Class B CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements
? Must have propane industry experience
? Logistics background |
