Ferrellgas Dedicates Delivery Truck In Support of the American Red Cross

Ferrellgas is a company with a reputation of always being there for its Customers, providing timely propane service to America’s homes, businesses, and farms. That’s why we’re so proud of our partnership with the American Red Cross Greater Houston Area Chapter. Established in 1881, the Red Cross provides disaster relief, support for military families, and lifesaving skills training, and distributes more than 40 percent of America’s blood supply. The organization’s Houston Area Chapter, which provides services to more than 6 million people in 10 area counties, is a key part of the world’s largest humanitarian network.

The distinctive blue that can be found on thousands of Ferrellgas vehicles across the country has been replaced on this new vehicle with the American Red Cross’ signature red. The easily identifiable Red Cross logo is also displayed prominently in several locations on the vehicle, drawing attention to a special organization that provides care, shelter, and hope to so many.

“We are pleased to have such a valued partner as Ferrellgas,” said Steve Vetrano, Chief Executive Officer, American Red Cross, Texas Gulf Coast Region. “We are grateful for their ongoing support of our disaster relief and preparedness programs. One of our fundamental principles is neutrality, but I can say this is one of their best looking trucks! Most importantly, it is a constant reminder for our community of the need for Red Cross services and importance of preparedness.”
