Our “hands-on” development rotational program will provide you with immediate responsibility where you will identify and apply important business operations and growth strategies. The Management Trainee position is designed to provide you with broad experience with our Ferrellgas and Blue Rhino brand and processes in order to prepare you for positions of greater responsibility. All applicants should be willing to relocate for advancement opportunities with the company.

As a Management Trainee, you will learn the framework of our company’s functions and operations through a 20-week comprehensive program. You will work alongside our existing management teams to gain valuable experience necessary for future growth and success within our company.

Logistic Supervisors

If you are an innovative, out of the box thinker, able to execute a plan on the fly and make sure our customers have what they need, a Logistics Supervisor position may be right for you.

A day in the life of a Logistics Supervisor typically includes:

  • Proactive management of delivery schedules for customers, understanding timing needs and constraints.
  • Building relationships, communicating and engaging with drivers, local management and sales teams to develop delivery strategies for customers.
  • Multitasking to handle the unexpected out of gas calls, customer concerns, as well as equipment and employee issues.
  • Manage data flow into routing and tracking systems.

Customer Service Managers

If you have excellent communication skills, strong customer service focus, strong sense of urgency and the ability to build strong lasting relationships being a Customer Service Manager may be where you’ll excel.

A day in the life of a Customer Service Manager typically includes:

  • Owning quick resolutions and customer satisfaction through the whole customer lifecycle, from the time new customers are onboarded through propane delivery.
  • You’ll ensure that all customer service tasks are completed in a timely fashion, the Customer Service Specialists offer superior customer service, and the standards of Ferrellgas customer experience are achieved.
  • Train, onboard, coach and support local and remote Customer Service Specialists.
  • Traveling between locations within the service area to build relationships with staff and customers.

Account Managers

Motivated by competition, committed to being the best, fostering relationships with new and existing customers, and being financially successful based on your efforts, describe a typical Account Manager. If that sounds like you, then this role may be for you.

A day in the life of an Account Manager typically includes:

  • Driving new profitable business for the area by identifying leads, qualifying prospects, and creating business relationships.
  • Building customer loyalty and maintaining the customer base of the service center’s multiple locations.
  • Constant communication and contact with service center teams, including Drivers, Service Technicians, Customer Service Managers, District and General Managers.
  • Travel to locations within the sales area.

District Managers

Demonstrating a high sense of urgency, handling competing priorities, having operational and safety acumen, and adapting to change are key components to success in this role. If this sounds like you, then we invite you to become a District Manager.

A day in the life of a District Manager typically includes:

  • Direct responsibility for all commercial activity.
  • Motivating operations teams to achieve business goals.
  • Developing and coaching direct reports including Delivery Drivers, Service Technicians and Material Handlers.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable governmental regulations, as well as Ferrellgas safety standards and practices.
  • Finding and capturing opportunities to innovate and profitably grow the business.
  • Foster existing relationships and develop profitable, new relationships with customer.
