Share the Warmth
Give the gift of warmth this winter
Starting with the example provided by our founder, A.C. Ferrell, who served the city of Atchison, Kansas, as both mayor and a volunteer policeman, Ferrellgas has long been a company that gives back to the communities it serves. We’ll do so again this season by holding our annual coat collection drive, which we call “Share The Warmth.”
When can I get involved?
Now through January 11, 2019, Ferrellgas will collect new and gently used winter coats, scarves, hats, and gloves for our neighbors in need.
And this year, we’re taking it one step further – because we believe spreading positivity is important in these long, cold wintery months. Along with clothing donations, we will be collecting stories and heart-warming sentiments to share.
How do I get involved?
At each of our participating Ferrellgas offices, we will have notecards near the collection bins. We’d love to give you the opportunity to include a “warm” message with your donation, so if you’d like, you’re welcome to jot a kind note down and slip it in the pocket of the coat you’re donating.
Before you do, though, be sure to snap a picture of it and share it with us on Facebook or Twitter. Or, you can share a photo of your smiling face as you make a donation. Whatever way you decide to spread the love and share the warmth, we want to hear about it. Just be sure to tag us @Ferrellgas and #ShareTheWarmth in your post!
