Ferrellgas supports causes all over the country as part of the Century Project.

The impact of a community is often shaped by the people who choose to invest in it. Across the country, our team members dedicate their time and energy to local causes and help sustain traditions that bring communities together. Their involvement reflects a commitment to making a positive impact beyond the workday. Here's a look at some of the organizations, events, and communities our team has recently supported.

Honoring a Legacy of Education in New Mexico

We proudly sponsored the Charlie "Rooster" Trujillo Memorial Golf Classic, presented by the RoosTRU, Inc. Foundation. The foundation was started 17 years ago by Ferrellgas Logistics Supervisor Denise T., and her family. It serves in memory of her father, Charlie "Rooster" Trujillo, who believed strongly in the power of education. What began as a local effort has now grown to support graduating seniors at high schools across New Mexico, thanks to sponsors like Ferrellgas and a dedicated community of golfers.

Celebrating Small-Town Spirit in Wisconsin

We are proud to support the Sparta Butterfest, an annual festival in Sparta, Wisconsin, formed to raise funds and support projects that advance the general welfare of the city. The annual celebration brings neighbors together for a festival full of food, fun, and hometown spirit. Proceeds are invested back into the Sparta community and have supported projects such as a new Boys & Girls Club and community center, park improvements, school programs, healthcare initiatives, scouting programs, and other local civic efforts. It is a weekend of celebration that continues making a difference long after the festivities end.

Helping Washington Students Take the Next Step

The 7th Annual Adna Car Show brought Ferrellgas and other sponsors together to support local students in Chehalis, Washington. Proceeds fund scholarships for Adna High School seniors who volunteer at the event, with each student’s award reflecting the time they contribute. According to event organizers, the car show has raised more than $100,000 for students since it began. Along with an impressive lineup of vehicles, the two-day event features food and craft vendors, auctions, live music, and family activities, giving community members plenty of ways to invest in Chehalis’s next generation.

Keeping Cancer Support Close to Home in Colorado

Our Denver team joined the Victory Motors/Teresa Maneotis Cancer Drive in Craig, Colorado, taking part in its casino night and golf tournament. The annual event benefits the Moffat County Cancer Society, which helps local patients manage treatment-related expenses. With the nearest cancer clinic 150 miles from Craig, travel can create an additional burden for patients and their families. According to event organizers, the fundraiser has raised more than $200,000 since the Maneotis family launched it in 2014, along with former Denver Bronco Rick Upchurch. According to the Moffat County Cancer Society, proceeds remain in Moffat County and have helped provide as much as $1,000.

Saluting Heroes on the Green in Missouri

We joined Operation BBQ Relief's (OBR) 6th Annual Heroes Golf Classic in Parkville, Missouri, which raises funds for programs supporting veterans, military service members, first responders, and their families. As OBR celebrates 15 years of service, we were honored to be part of an event recognizing those who serve and protect our communities.

Building Skills Through Baseball in Oregon

Willamette Valley Babe Ruth Baseball gives young athletes across Oregon’s Willamette Valley opportunities to learn, compete, and experience being part of a team. Ferrellgas was among the sponsors of the program, which serves more than 60 teams through league and tournament play. Throughout the season, players strengthen their baseball skills while learning sportsmanship, building confidence, and forming friendships on and off the field.

A Home for Community Programs in Illinois

The Rock Island County Fairgrounds in East Moline, Illinois, serves as a year-round gathering place for local organizations and youth programs. Ferrellgas was among the sponsors helping fund its maintenance, allowing groups such as University of Illinois Extension 4-H clubs and the Rock Island County Home Extension to use the space at no cost. The fairgrounds also host the Miniature Hereford Junior Nationals Peewee Show, where children ages 8 and younger can exhibit miniature Hereford cattle. A costume contest gives the young exhibitors and their calves another way to participate and show their creativity.

Training to Serve Communities Nationwide

Ferrellgas employee-owners joined Operation BBQ Relief (OBR) for a volunteer culinary disaster training event in Wilmington, North Carolina. The training brought together current and future volunteers to learn food safety, meal preparation, and response skills needed to serve areas affected by natural disasters. As a longtime partner of OBR, we're honored to support efforts that ensure volunteers are ready to provide comfort, hope, and hot meals when they're needed most.

Keeping Youth Soccer Accessible in Indiana

West End Soccer, based in Topeka, Indiana, keeps youth soccer affordable for families across LaGrange County. Sponsorships, with support from partners like Ferrellgas, help hold the average registration cost to just $25 per player for a full season. According to West End Soccer, the program fielded 58 teams and welcomed 445 young athletes in 2025 alone, giving children the chance to learn the game, build confidence, and experience being part of a team.
