This immersive experience gives you the on-the-job training you need to earn your Commercial Drivers License (CDL), as well as the endorsements needed to transport propane. That’s why we’re proud to cover the cost of your training and certification throughout the process. On average, the program lasts less than a year, but that can vary depending on the state where you live.  

What You’ll Learn

As part of the Driver Trainee program, you’ll learn every aspect of being a Ferrellgas Driver, including why we take safety so seriously. You’ll be thoroughly trained on completing safety checks, making deliveries properly, driving safely, and more. Plus, you’ll have your endorsements by the end of the program!  

In addition, you’ll be exposed to some of the latest and greatest technology available in the propane industry. At Ferrellgas, we pride ourselves on staying up-to-date on the latest advances so we can Fuel Life Simply for our customers and our employee-owners.
