Going the extra mile for Dr. Bud

It may not seem like much at the time — bringing up the newspaper, a few extra nights of volunteering, getting a delivery done professionally — but doing even a little extra can make a big difference.

We couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible people we work for, and with, every day like Dr. Bud.

Every so often we’re lucky enough to cross paths with someone who never fails to put a smile on our faces; someone whose passion for life leaves a positive and lasting impact on those around them.

For the employee owners in Ferrellgas’ Ocala, Florida office, that someone is Omar Mann, aka “Dr. Bud.”

A longtime Ferrellgas customer, Dr. Bud relocated recently to the state of Arkansas, to be closer to family. Even though he no longer uses propane, and despite the fact that his new home in Bentonville is roughly 1,058 miles from the front door of the Ferrellgas office in Ocala, Florida, Dr. Bud still checks in on the employees who went the extra mile for him.
