Propane Appliances

It’s no secret that propane homeowners enjoy the comfort, safety, and energy efficiency propane has to offer all year long. Propane not only heats their homes, but it can also power many appliances, too. There are many types of furnaces, water heaters, fireplaces, and even generators powered by propane, and those appliances offer homeowners many benefits.

Propane Furnace Rebates

If you are planning on making some upgrades to your home, including switching to a propane-powered furnace, there are some great rebates available to help you take advantage of the benefits of propane. Qualified individuals may be eligible for state, regional, or local government incentives. Information is available on the Propane Education & Research Council’s (PERC’s) Residential Propane Appliance Rebates and Incentives page. There, you’ll be able to figure out which propane appliance incentives are available in your state and what you need to do to qualify.

When it comes to switching to a propane furnace, the types of rebates available, and the qualifications, vary depending on which state you live in. According to PERC, many states offer somewhere between $50-$800 to qualified homeowners who want to switch to propane-powered furnaces. Many of these states also offer incentives for qualified homeowners who want to switch to other propane-powered appliances.

Propane Rebates by State

Some states and municipalities also offer rebates, tax credits, grants, and other monetary funding for additional propane-related projects. You can find information on those programs here. Additional funding is available through Rinnai, the leading tankless water heater distributor in the United States. Qualified customers can use that funding to offset the cost of propane-fueled water heaters and other products to heat their home. You can find information on Rinnai’s program on their Offers & Rebates page.

As you consider making upgrades to your home this year, don’t forget about propane! The applications go far beyond what you might think. Click here to visit PERC’s website to learn more about the types of propane-powered products available on the market today. As we mentioned, you may qualify for hundreds of dollars in assistance, depending on where you live
