Ferrellgas’ approach to customer service starts with a unique company culture

To Patrick, a Senior Customer Service Specialist out of St. Peters, Missouri, family is quite literally everything. An employee since 2017, Patrick has a picture of his kids on his desk, next to his computer, post-it notes, and important papers. Even at work, he feels close to his family.
When it comes to his personal life, Patrick appreciates the flexibility Ferrellgas provides.
“It’s actually one of the reasons why I came here,” he said. “When you have a family. There’s going to be times when things come up and you’re not going to be able to work, and they know that you’re not going to be at your best when you’re worrying about what’s going on at home.”
It’s a relief compared to jobs Patrick’s had in the past, he said.
“It makes me feel really good to know that I actually can make a difference for somebody,” he said. “There’s a lot of companies out there that really don’t go that extra mile. … It’s nice to have a company enough that cares.”

“I absolutely love working here. It makes me so proud to say that I work for Ferrellgas,” Patrick said. “I come in to work every day knowing that I’ll be helping somebody that day. It’s not just, ‘I’m here to take some calls and go home.’ I actually enjoy getting up every morning and coming to work.”
Our company culture, and focus on a work-life balance, is unmatched. It has been for 80-plus years and it will continue to be that way for years to come.
