“In the wintertime those heaters really help bring everybody together to one place,” says David. “It keeps people here in the village and it keeps people spending money here, rather than leaving once the slopes close to go back to Aspen.”

On site, Snowmass Mountain Village has three cages that hold 21 propane tanks each, a valuable asset to keep lodgers warm in all elements.

“It’s so convenient to have those here,” says David. “So everything’s full and super easy to pull one from the plaza and exchange one from the cage. … Our propane heaters are filled multiple times per day.”

The staff at Snowmass Mountain Village trusts Ferrellgas, a company that fits in well with the mountain community, according to David.

“Ferrellgas has been a much more positive experience than the service provider that we had previously,” he says. “Everybody has a smile, everybody communicates well, and everybody’s willing to develop the relationship and network. In the mountains, that’s what it’s all about -- developing that relationship and it’s like a sense of family. “That’s what really drove us to Ferrellgas.”
