One way our customers can apply for assistance is through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, or LIHEAP. Qualifications vary state by state, but many Americans rely on funding from LIHEAP to help them pay their electricity, natural gas, or propane bills. Others use the money to weatherize their home or make energy-related home repairs. Funding is available to qualified individuals in both the summer and the winter months.
