Step 1: Get a Quote or Schedule a Consultation

Step 2: Safe Tank Installation or Transfer
This experience can vary depending on whether you own your tank or lease it from Ferrellgas. Your local team will walk you through the process, answer questions, and ensure your propane system is ready for safe operation.
Once your account is created, we will complete a safety inspection before your service begins. If a new tank installation is needed, a Ferrellgas Service Technician will handle both the inspection and the tank installation, which is executed according to NFPA 58 standards. If no tank installation is required, a Delivery Driver will complete the safety inspection during your first fill. Those receiving a new tank set will also get a small initial fill at the time of installation, followed by a true first delivery once we’ve confirmed the tank and propane system are safe to operate.
